これは凄いよ･･･

イノセンス アブソリュート・エディション、入荷数が少なかったのか並んでた最後の一枚だった。それを買ったのだけど初回限定というメタルケースがちと凹んでて･･･ヘコんだ(；´Д｀)
従来版のものとはいい区別にはなるけど個人的には普通のケースでよかった･･･。
でも中身は楽しみ。果たしてMPEG-2からMPEG-4/AVCへの進化の結果は･･･また後でじっくり鑑賞しよう。ディズニースタジオものは最高品質間違いない。

んで何が凄いのかと言うとこのBDの件ではなく、SoftBankがiPhoneのパケット定額を2段階制にしたって件でもなく････

グーグルが5日よりGoogleマップ上でサービス開始した「ストリートビュー」機能だ。
Googleマップ上の青い道をクリックすることで360度パノラマ写真が表示されその場の風景を見れるというもの。まるで自分がそこを歩いているかのように････。

札幌、小樽、函館、仙台、東京、埼玉、千葉、横浜、鎌倉、京都、大阪、神戸の12都市で対応しているらしく、かなり細かい道を辿っている事に驚き。自宅はもちろん、普段通っている道を辿って、え！？こんなところも！？という場所にまで至る。



よく通る場所を調べようといつもお世話になってる新宿シネシティのジョイシネマを見てみたら･･･『L change the WorLd』と『ライラの冒険』のポスターってことは3月以降当たりに撮影されてるんですね、ここらへんは。ポスターの人物にもちゃんとモザイクがかかっているｗ

もはや自宅にいながら目的地までの詳細なルートを"ほぼ主観視点で"把握する事はもちろん、手軽にネット上で好きなエリアを散歩し新たな発見をすることもできるというわけだ。いずれ日本全国に対応した時、どこにでも擬似旅行・観光も可能になる。また実際にその場所に行くのとは違う冒険的楽しみもあるだろう。凄すぎというかやば過ぎ。これぐらいしか言いようがない。マウスを駆使してグリグリ動かしてると思わず攻殻の視覚インターフェイスを思い出すかのような衝撃。こんなのは思いついても普通なら決して実際にやろうとは思わないだろう･･･それを平気でやってのけるグーグルの凄さというのを改めて感じた。

プライバシー関連で言えば色々難しい問題があるだろうけど、是非そこは何とかクリアしていって欲しいところ。この発想と実現はそう生まれるものじゃないと思う。是非発展させて欲しい。APIも公開されてるということでこれを利用した面白いコンテンツも出てきそうだ。
