―『鉄（くろがね）のラインバレル』原作はチャンピオンREDにて清水栄一x下口智裕が連載中（既刊8冊）のバトルアクション・ロボット漫画。魅力的なキャスト、精鋭スタッフが集い、いよいよ10月よりTVアニメ放送開始！

というわけで大分遅れてしまいましたが･･･
キャラホビのステージイベントで上映された第1話のあらすじとレビューです。

▼第1話　「クロガネと少年」 あらすじ
OPテーマは情報未解禁のため流れず。
冒頭で"ラインバレル"が地球に落下していくところから第1話が始まる。
主人公の早瀬浩一は中学3年で学校ではいつもいじめられる側で、その日も不良グループにパシリでパンを買いにいかされる。幼馴染みの新山理沙子が止めに入るが、そんな自分が嫌なのか「いいんだ」と進んでパン屋へと向かっていく。そんな浩一を心配する同じく幼馴染み矢島（こっちは男）。浩一は昔からこの二人の幼馴染みに守られて暮らしきたという過去がある。しかし今の浩一はそんな自分から脱却したい･･･力さえあればなんでもできるのに･･･と苦悩していた。

そんな中、地球に接近する「マキナ」（ラインバレル）の落下地点を予測する謎の組織「JUDA」。だが予想地点に落下すると思われたマキナはこれまた謎の組織（加藤機関）の手によって掌握された人工衛星からの攻撃で落下軌道が大きくずれてしまう。そしてちょうどその落下地点にはパン屋から学校に戻ろうと近道である山道を走っていた早瀬浩一がいた。

ラインバレルの落下によって浩一は死んだと思われたが･･･大きな衝撃でできた溝で目覚めた浩一の目に入ったのは一人の裸の少女だった。記憶を失ったその少女を浩一は助け、街へ･･･。

しかし加藤機関のマキナ、アルマ・イダテンが市街を襲撃していた。狙いは落下したマキナ。それに巻き込まれていく浩一だったが、そこに浩一を捜していた幼馴染みの矢島が駆けつけ、少女の手を取り、逃げるぞと走り出す。

浩一の手からスルッと離れる少女の手･･･

浩一は心の中で苛立ちを感じながらそれを追いかける。
だが行く手で矢島は倒れてきた瓦礫を止めるために身動きが取れなくなり、俺を置いていけと浩一らを逃がそうとするが･･･ここで浩一の苛立ちが爆発。俺にだって力があれば･････そう強く思いながらその瓦礫の壁に拳をぶつけた時、それは粉々に砕け散った。

ファクターへの覚醒。
それと同時に少女は自分の名前を思い出す、城崎 絵美だと。
そして浩一は城崎 絵美に言われるがまま･･･ラインバレルを召喚する。巨大なロボット、先ほど自分に落下してきたあのロボット･･･それが今自分の････力となった。

「おまえはどこかに隠れていろッ！」

矢島に向けた浩一のその言葉、表情は自信に満ち溢れ、見下している様でもあった。
俺にはもう･･･力があるんだ！これこそが望んだ自分そのものだ！と。

敵は加藤機関四番隊隊長の沢渡拓郎らが操るマキナ。初めて乗るはずの浩一だが、ラインバレルの操り方は分かっている。市街戦の中ラインバレルの強力な力で沢渡らは撤退していく。

「この街の正義は俺が守るッ！」

敵を撃退した浩一は「ナイスな展開」だと、自分が「正義の味方」だと調子付いていた。だが･･･その隣で一緒に乗っていた城崎 絵美は浩一にひと言告げる。「あなたは既に死んでいる」ということを。

第1話、それはもう柿原氏が不安に思うのも仕方ないくらい主人公・早瀬 浩一はいやぁな感じに描かれています。日々感じていた劣等感から･･･力を手にしたことによる"変貌"。そんな浩一の描写が第1話の見所ですね。

最初の1話ということで作画はもちろん綺麗で平井画がよく出ている感じです。というかEDクレジットには作画監督として名前が出ていたのにも注目です。しかしそれによって原作とは絵で差異があるので好みは分かれるかもしれません。自分は原作未読なので全然問題ないですが。
マキナら、ロボットは全て3DCGで描かれており、メインの武器が刀や槍なので大きく動くシーンが多く、迫力のあるバトルシーンに。特に動きに違和感もなく、よく動いていたと思います。第2話でも相当ハードなバトルシーンが用意されているそうで、ソッチ系に期待している人には嬉しいものになっていきそうです。

人物描写にしても谷口氏が参加していることで浩一はもっともっと嫌らしい描かれ方がされるんじゃないかと今から楽しみですが････やはりラインバレルはロボット物として注目したい。何よりラインバレルはもちろんマキナはどれもこれもカッコいいし、マクロスシリーズの"板野サーカス"で知られる板野氏の参加で戦闘シーンの迫力にも期待できます。キャストも豪華だけどスタッフの方も手加減なし！

なんてGONZOの回し者みたいな紹介になってますが、ぶっちゃけGONZOそのものの状態が心配な状況なので先行きに不安もあるんですけどね･･･
BD化にも期待できないし･･･ﾎﾞｿﾎﾞｿ

とにかく久しぶりに熱いロボアクションが観れそうなのでロボメカアニメとしてガンダム00以上にテンション上げてくれる作品になると期待してます。
