▼あらすじ
早瀬浩一は、どこにでもいる、ごく普通の中学三年生。何も出来ず、正義に憧れているだけだった彼は、ある日”事故”により、巨大人型メカ「ラインバレル」のファクター（搭乗者）となる。圧倒的な力を得た浩一は、謎の美少女・城崎絵美との出会いをきっかけに、襲いくる敵に戦いを挑んでゆくが……！？

これは中二展開というのとはちと違う。どちらかというとその中二キャラクターすらまだまともに見える究極の邪気眼を持ちえる者の物語の始まりである。あの痛々しさと"お約束"的な部分がこの話の定義上では"ナイスな展開"となる。多分。
▼インプレッション
話の展開の良し悪しは早速色々議論の分かれるところですが、まぁ好みに強く左右される系である事は確かですね。原作とは違う展開なのはアニメなりの結末を迎えるためのシナリオ構成のため。原作者から既にそのストーリーラインは提供されているらしい。2クール･24話でまとめるために今後も色々改変はあるでしょう。そういうこともあり原作を読んでいても今後の展開が分からないだけに読めない･･･。（といっても自分は原作は序盤しか読んでませんが）原作より早瀬は酷いことになってるのでそこでイラって来たら終了か。人物紹介のごとく出てきた多くのキャラクターの見せ場はこれからですが、森次さんの今後のカッコよさにだけは期待せざるを得ない。
ラインバレルを呼び出すシーンなんていつのロボアニメだ！と言いたくなる様なシーンだけど、戦闘シーンのあの"破片"やら"重量感"がたまりませんねぇ･･･CG使うと破壊描写が甘くなりがちですがそこらへんはロボアニメとして今後もこだわって欲しいところ。しかし個人的には"ヴァーダント"が出てきてからが本番ｗ とにかく自分がこのアニメに期待しているはロボメカ戦闘だということはハッキリしてるかな。谷口氏も名前は連ねられてるものの本編との関わりが薄そうなのでそう谷口色は出ないでしょうしね。
しかし先行プレミアではただ省かれてるだけと思っていたOPパートが本放送でも省略されてるとはどういうことだ！アリプロの歌にどういう絵乗せてくるのか楽しみにしてたのに････楽しみは次回に持ち越しだ！
▼作画/画質
画質的には高い解像度感を感じましたが、明らかなインターレース縞が入ってましたね。（CG部分はなくアニメ作画部分のみ）それで若干線が崩れてた感じ（綺麗にインタレ解除してエンコすれば問題はないけど）。ですが綺麗なHDアニメであることは確か。作画に関しては作画監督に平井氏の回であるのもあって安定してましたが、どうも"加藤さん"の顔が恐すぎるような･･･雰囲気は普通に黒の騎○団だったりするしｗ そもそもなんであの原作で作画を平井デザインにしたのかそこらへんのチョイスがよく分からなかったり。スタッフネームで注目を集めるためってのはあるとしても････まぁGONZO、頑張って！ｗ
