PS3『KILLZONE2』：日本国内発売は北米から遅れる事2ヶ月･･･

30日、待ちに待った日本国内版『KILLZONE 2』のリリース日が発表されました。
その日は2009年4月23日（木）。海外リリース2月27日から約二ヶ月遅れる形に。

これは「リトルビッグプラネット」、「レジスタンス2」といった最近のSCEJ・ローカライズタイトルの発売タイミングが海外と国内で2週間の差すらなかったのに対して、今回の発売日発表の遅さとその発売日の大幅なズレは、待ちわびているユーザーからすると大変ショッキングな結果であると思います。この大幅なズレの原因は分かりませんが予想できる範囲ではこんなところでしょうか。

・2、3月の国内有力タイトルが豊富でそれと被るのを避けた。
・ローカライズ作業に時間がかかっている。
・表現規制による大幅な編集作業が入っている。
・SCEJのプロジェクトの中で、今プライオリティがもの凄く低く適当に延ばした。

1番目が理由が一番妥当でしょうか･･･むしろこれであって欲しい。
発売日をずらしてまで売ろうとする意図があるということだから。国内ではただでさえ知名度で劣るのに日本の有力シリーズタイトルに被せるには惜しいと考えているのならそれは最もな考えですし、PS3タイトルのリリースタイミングをバランスよく分散化するというのはSCEJにとっては重要な役割でもあります。ファンには辛いですが。

ローカライズ作業で遅れてる可能性は低いはずです。SCEのローカライズ体制はWWSといった存在もありおそらく世界一と言えるほど。大作RPGをローカライズするわけでもなく、FPSなわけですからなお更遅れる理由は少ない。多少遅れることはあっても2ヶ月というのはちと大き過ぎます。

表現規制については今回CEROレーティングが「D」と明らかになったわけですが、このランクからするとこれまで明らかになっている「KILLZONE2」の表現内容ではそこまで規制されるポイントは多くに及ばないはず。もちろん一切ないということはなく、一部ゴア表現は存在しているので規制は入るでしょう。しかしこれもまた2ヶ月のズレを生むほどの量があるのかというとそれはないと思われます。同じ「D」の「レジスタンス2」よりは全然控えめ。

最後の予想は絶対ないと信じてますが･･･いやない、絶対無い！


とにかく無事発表されたということ、これは素直に喜びましょう！
この2009年上半期内にPS3フラッグシップタイトルが遊べる事には変わりなく、
2月～4月でプレイしたいタイトルが多い人には逆にちょうどいいタイミングとも言えますしね。（ちょうど「FFXIII」体験版を堪能し終わった後かな？）

自分は早ければ2月中に北米版をプレイ開始予定。
当初、北米版でオンラインマルチプレイのみをプレイして、シングルキャンペーンを封印。日本版リリース後にそれを購入・シングルキャンペーンを解禁し、後のDLCに対応するという感じを予定していたんですが、その発売日の差が2ヶ月となるとその"シングル封印"が耐えられるか微妙になってきました･･･。

ですが両方のパッケージで買うことに迷いはありません（ｷﾘｯ

迷っている場合は、「レジスタンス2」のように北米版での字幕・音声の英語・日本語同時収録の可能性もありますし、そこにとりあえず期待するのもありですね。あとは3月に国内PS Store向け体験版が2種類、"キャンペーンモード体験版"、そしてその後日"オンラインモード体験版"が配信される事が確定したので、それで耐えつつ意地でも待つか！？

自分はもう我慢できません･･･

私は３日前に海外版予約しました。字幕の入っているスクショが
公開されてますから声優さんはともかく日本語は期待出来るの
かなと・・　私は逆の考えで２種類も体験版を出す所を見ると
SCEJは逆に力を入れて来るのではと思ってます！
「モタスト２」の二の舞はもうゴメンです！

遅れる理由は解りませんが３６０のギアーズ２に比べれば
こっちはぜんぜんまったく幸せな方ですよ！('ω'*)

まぁ北米版に日本語字幕＆音声があっても北米版も日本版も買うよ。
