「EVA-EXTRA」（evangelion extra magazine）とは？
「ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版」を制作するスタジオ・カラーが自社で編集し、現場からダイレクトに情報を発信することをコンセプトに作られたフリー冊子。

これを見ると分かるが、「新劇場版」は制作から配給、宣伝までカラーが自社で直々にプロデュースするという珍しい形で展開している。これはアニメ業界に今再び"EVA"で新風を巻き起こそうとする意図があるという。
従来の「製作委員会」システムをここで捨て、カラー自社の持つ考えと行動をダイレクトに作品に反映させるためにこうした展開をしているわけだ。構想から制作、宣伝････既にEVAは他とは一線を画す作品であることは間違いない。

そうしたものの一環として制作されるこの「EVA-EXTRA」は普段ならアニメ誌で初出しされるようなビジュアル、情報が直接ファンに届けられることになる。現場の意図から少しも湾曲することなく、純粋なままファンがその作品の魅力を受け取れるという価値は大きい。

というわけで18日に配布が開始された第一弾「EVA-EXTRA 01」。
都内では公開劇場前などで綾波レイ"のコスプレをしたお姉さん達に配られたり、アニメイトやTSUTAYA、タワーレコードの店頭で配布されています。
「特典付き前売り券"レイ"Ver」の発売日ということもあり多くのファンが朝から並んで･･････っていう日に限って自分は仕事ですよ。"アスカ"Verは友達が手に入れてくれたのでいいんですが、今回は転売屋がかなり動いたようで都内瞬殺。新宿では発売開始の午前8時前に並んでいた人の数だけで既に終了しているという状態。エヴァ人気恐るべし。「EVA-EXTRA 01」の方は手渡し配布の他、場所によっては大量に平積み置きされており、それほど入手には困らず、渋谷のTSUTAYAにてゲット。夕方過ぎても大量に平積みされてたみたい。映画館ではチケットを買った人にだけ配布だとか色々違うようなので、探すならTSUTAYAやアニメイトの店頭の方が良さそう。

さて、内容を以下で触れて行きます。

注目は5号機パイロットビジュアルが描かれたページ下部のキャスト一覧。
実は数日前からフラゲによって画像がUPされていたのだけどコラの可能性もあってその目で見るまでは･･･と思っていたもの。それは新キャラ「マリ」のフルネームとキャスト情報。

まさかの真綾さん起用！
ライトニング（FFXIII）に続いてこんなところでお目にかかるとは･･･予想外でしたが、マリの見た目と台詞からこれはなかなか合いそうで良いキャスティングかも。「トップ2」で鶴巻監督と関わりがある事からの推薦との予想も。名前の"真希波"というのは例によって実在する護衛艦が由来。記載順からしてかなり重要な人物であることは明らか。やはり仮設5号機のパイロットかな･･･。「破」における大きな見所のひとつですね。

他、これまでは「原作・脚本・総監督：庵野秀明」としか判明していなかったメインスタッフ一覧も記載されています。色々変動が見られますが、「序」の時は事前公開のスタッフとエンドクレジットに流れるスタッフは結構変わってるので今回もそうなるんだろうなぁ。

劇中ビジュアルのほとんどは特報映像に含まれるもののため、新鮮で濃密な内容とは言えませんが、新ビジュアルに加えて新キャラのキャスト情報をさりげなく掲載するという点はなんともエヴァらしい感じ。紙質も良いですし、そのまま映画のミニパンフレットになるような作りなのでかなり満足感があります。まさにファン必携のアイテム！

この「EVA-EXTRA」は第3号まで予定されており、次回「02」の配布は5月16日を予定。


そうそう、5月27日に発売されるBlu-rayDisc「EVANGELION:1.11」のAmazon商品画像が更新されてました。中身はやっぱり赤かったｗ
