『デビル メイ クライ』、『ビューティフル ジョー』、『大神（OKAMI）』と自らがディレクションした作品のキャラクターが一同に描かれたTシャツ。なんというレアものだ･･･。
その3作はどれもアクションとしては至高であり、神谷氏の異能っぷりを存分に味わう事ができる作品。そんな神谷氏が手がける“アクション”の最新作。まさに再び伝説が生まれようとしてるわけで･･･期待せずにはいられません。
そんな気になる『ベヨネッタ』、インタビュー記事から気になる点を拾ってみます(　ﾟдﾟ)つ

橋本（『BAYONETTA（ベヨネッタ）』のプロデューサー）のほうから、「神谷さんの3Dアクションゲームが見たいですわー」と言われまして。そのときに、「そういえば3Dアクションゲームの企画書1本も書いてなかったな」と気づきまして。実際、僕らの会社には『デビル メイクライ』を作ったメンバーがたくさんいますし、僕もディレクターをやっていたことがありますので、「なるほどな」と思ったんですね。

超同意。

こだわりとしては架空の武器は使いたくなかったので、手と足の両方に武器、銃を装備してマーシャルアーツのように打撃を行いつつも、引き金を引いて銃を撃つというアクションを提案しました。

イメージとしては『DMC4』でネロがEXアクトを引くように体術に銃撃を加える感じですかね？まぁそんな単純にはいかないでしょうけど、現状プリレンダで見ることしかできないアクションシーンですが、ゲーム中の攻撃方法に関してはかなり興味があるところです。

主人公を女にしたことでカッコよかったり激しかったりというのとはまた違う、艶かしかったり、滑らかだったり、色気というのも味わいとしてプラスできました。

これがまず“新しい見た目”を生むキーですかね。女主人公というと『ヘブンリーソード』の主人公ナリコが見せたような流れるように繰り出す連撃をイメージしますが、ああいった動きは男キャラでは真似できない美しさと爽快感があるんですよね。それにさらに今回は“魔女”という要素も加わることでまた妖しさといったスパイスでオイシクなるかも？

僕に限らず、チームの人間全員そうだと思います。僕は『デビル』、『ジョー』と作っていますが、いずれも続編を作れていないんです。で、それぞれの続編を見ても、正直あまり刺激がないんですよね。そういう経緯もあって、本気（マジ）なアクションゲームを作るんだったら俺らだよな、という自負があります。「俺らの留守中にでけぇツラすんな」と。俺らがやるしかねぇな、ということで奮い立っている部分がありますね。

･･･この部分からはカプコンを離れ、しばらく静かにしていた事で溜まった何かが爆発しかけている感じがしますねｗ 『DMC』シリーズに関しても出る続編が決して面白くないことはないわけで、『DMC4』で言えば相当面白かったですよ。でもそれでもやはりシリーズ初作に出会った時の“刺激”は確かにないのかもしれない。それだけ『デビルメイクライ』というゲームは相当なインパクトがありました。

マジなアクションゲームを作るなら神谷チーム。
それらをプレイし、堪能してきた自分にはその新たな“マジゲー”を疑う余地などありません！
