【E3】『Resident Evil 5（バイオハザード5）』オンラインCoopモードを公開！

順番としては前記事のFFXIIIマルチの件より先だったんですが、こちらもその影に隠れちゃうにはもったいない内容です。E3でのMSカンファレンスにて『Resident Evil 5（バイオハザード5）』の発売日とオンラインCoopプレイ（協力プレイ）が公開されました。国内でもカプコンより公式プレスリリースが出ておりPS3/Xbox360版共に日本では2009年3月12日発売となっています。欧米での発売は2009年3月13日となっており世界同時発売となっています。

合わせてMSカンファレンスにて発表されたのは先にリークされていた注目の“オンラインCoopモード”の実演プレイも公開！カプコン・竹内Pの日本語解説/翻訳と共にクリスと新キャラクター・シェバの協力プレイの様子を少しだけ見ることができます。

1人では進めない場所で自分が踏み台になり、もう1人のプレイヤーを導くという基本的なアクションから、迫り来る敵に対して近接戦闘とスナイパーライフルによる支援戦闘とで戦うという協力プレイらしいシーンが見られますね。まだまだ開発中のためか敵の座標位置が飛ぶという怪しい動きがありましたがｗ

最近ではオンラインCoop対応のゲームも増えてきましたが、バイオにもそろそろ欲しかったモードなのでこれは実際にプレイできるのが非常に楽しみです。決して大所帯にはならず2人だけというのも重要です。恐らく弾薬やハーブの受け渡しといったこともできると思われますが、このような行動がリアルにプレイヤー同士で行う事になるというのは面白そうです。
しかしこれで決して1人ではプレイできなかった人もCoopがあるだけで頼もしい味方が出来てプレイできるかも！？
