本作は自分も大好きでファンである「デビルメイクライ」の生みの親であり、「バイオハザード2」、「ビューティフルジョー」、「大神」などカプコンの名作を手掛けた作るゲーム当たりだらけのヒットメーカー神谷英樹氏のプラチナゲームズ制作タイトル第一弾！

神谷氏は現在カプコンからは離れプラチナゲームズに所属しており、パブリッシャーはSEGAとなっている本タイトルですが、そのSEGAブースではTGSでもかなり注目度は高かったです。PS3版と360版が別々の列になっていたんですがどちらもかなり並んでいて、映像に見入って立ち止まっている人も多かったです。黒髪ロングでメガネの魔女という主人公ベヨネッタのビジュアル、そしてクライマックス・アクションと呼ばれるド迫力な演出と華麗なコンボアクションが既に沢山の人に注目されている証でしょう。自分はSEGAブースが人多すぎだったために、SCEJのIDチェックコーナーに並びました。こちらは限定グッズの配布がないかわりに待ち時間は短めで30分ぐらいでした（ビジネスデイ）。聞いた話ではマイクロソフトブースも同様に穴場ポイントになっていたようです。

いやぁしかし面白かった！やはり神谷アクションはもはや揺ぎ無いブランドです。
パンチ・キックアクションそれぞれが装備している武器によって変わるので本当にバリエーション豊富なアクションが楽しめます。コンボも難しくなく、組み合わせ次第で色々な形で敵にヒットさせられるのでそれを意識しての戦いが楽しいです。トーチャーアタック（拷問技）なども難しいことはなく自然にコンボに繋げられ、気持ちの良いプレイが途切れることなく堪能できます。敵が落とした武器も使えるのでかなりのモーションパターンが用意されてそうです。その他、敵の攻撃を刹那のタイミングで避けると発動する「ウィッチタイム」は周囲の敵の動きをスローにすることができるというこれもまたアクションの爽快さ、気持ちよさのツボを抑えた良い要素でした。これはじっくりプレイしてもっと色んなコンボを組み立てたいと思える内容でした。

あとは神谷氏自身意識していたという「GOW」シリーズに負けず劣らずなスケール感が本当に凄かった。ベヨネッタがボス級の敵にトドメを刺す際に発動する「大魔獣召喚」、足場そのものが動き回る巨大ボス戦など派手さをとにかく詰めに詰め込んだようなお祭りアクションになっていました。

また、本作の魅力でもあるベヨネッタの"大人の魅力"もしっかり体験！
大魔獣召還後、かなり肌が露わになったのは思わず目が言ってしまいます。"絶妙なカメラワーク"も面白かったです。あとはもう通常の操作でも、モデル歩きのような脚の動かし方と左右に揺れるセクシーなお尻。神谷氏の趣味が入ってるとのことですが、こりゃ本気でこだわってるぜ･･･と変に感心しました。"こっちの要素"に期待している人は満足できるんじゃないでしょうか(　ﾟдﾟ)b

最後に一部で心配されているPS3版と360版の違いについてですが･･･
当初の予定ではどちらのバージョンもプレイしてみるつもりだったんですが、さすがに時間が足らなくてPS3版のみの試遊になりました。なので比べてのコメントはできないんですが、自分がプレイした限りPS3版に特に不満点は感じられませんでした。フレームレートも安定していたように感じましたし60fpsのヌルヌルさがありました。プレイ冒頭にロード画面が入り、コンボの練習ができるポイントがありましたが、すぐに終わってしまってまったくコンボ練習ができなかったぐらいロードは短かったです。グラフィックの違いこそ見比べないことには何とも言えないのですが、カメラが引いた時に微妙に解像度が低く感じたぐらい。つまり、普通にプレイしていて感じる不満点はなかったのでそこらへんは安心していいと思います。まぁ体験版はたまたま大きな違いが出ないという可能性もあり、製品版がどうなるかはわかりませんが、とりあえずTGS体験版に不満はなかったので自分は予定どおりPS3版「BAYONETTA」を購入しようと思います。

というわけで神谷氏の最新作、たった十数分では堪能しきれないほど魅力が詰まったアクション大作に仕上がっており、発売がまた楽しみになりました。10月は「アンチャーテッド」もあるのでプレイできる時間確保も難しくなりそうですが、なんとか楽しもうと思います！
